CHOIR FEES AND UNIFORMS
Students who require financial assistance should contact Mr. Patel to discuss how they may utilize the Booster Club's Angel Fund to help cover choir expenses. Please refer to the scholarship application form.
Choir Fees
Concert Treble and Concert Tenor Base Fee ($150). This choir fee covers various expenses throughout the year for Concert Treble and Concert Tenor-Bass Choir members, generally FRESHMEN students.
Treble Select Fee ($250). This choir fee covers various expenses throughout the year for Treble Select Choir members, generally SOPHOMORE LADIES.
Ladies & Lassies Fee ($250). This choir fee covers various expenses throughout the year for L&L Choir Members, which include most JUNIOR & SENIOR LADIES, and most SOPHOMORE, JUNIOR, & SENIOR GUYS.
Concert Attire
FORMAL PERFORMANCE ATTIRE:
Men: You are required to pay a $40 Tux Rental Fee. Measurements will be taken during class and a tux assigned to each individual. Your tuxedo will include the jacket, bowtie, cummerbund, and slacks. You will need to purchase a white tuxedo shirt. The following link is an affordable/good quality option: Tux Shirt. Students are also responsible for providing black socks and black dress shoes.
Women: Students new to the choir program are required to purchase a $76 Choir Dress. You will be fitted for the uniform black concert dress during class, or take your own measurements at home. Fee includes purchase of the dress and hemming. Students must provide black, closed-toe character heels. The following link is an affordable option: Black Close-Toed Shoes These shoes are also available at Capezio on Lovers Lane. Any black character shoe with a closed toe and low heel (around 2” will work). No sandals, flip-flops, or “chunky” shoes! Simple rings, earrings, and bracelets may be worn, but no necklaces.
INFORMAL ATTIRE:
In addition to the above, there may be occasions where the choir wears an informal uniform (L&L polos, Choir T-shirts). In such cases, each student is expected to wear the appropriate attire and dress in a dignified manner. The HPHS Choir Booster Club will be providing all HPHS Choir Students with a department t-shirt! All students are expected to sport the OFFICIAL HPHS CHOIR SHIRT on all concert days, competition days, and to all other specified events determined by the directors.
